This 2012 Volkswagen Golf R is a legendary hot hatchback with decades of heritage. Under the hood, a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine produces 256 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque, all of which is sent through a six-speed manual transmission to all four wheels. The engine is not stock, however, having received a Forge Performance carbon fiber cold-air intake, an APR high-performance fuel pump, APR performance tuning, and an upgraded dual-disc clutch, among many other modifications. This aggressive car comes equipped with OEM 18” Volkswagen wheels and is finished in Carbon Steel Gray Metallic, a subtle color that highlights the aggressive lines of the exterior. In the interior, this Golf offers heated leather “R” bucket seats, multi-zone A/C, a flat-bottomed leather “R” steering wheel, WeatherTech floor mats, tinted windows, push-to-start, and an infotainment system with CD, navigation, and AUX, truly making this car the complete package.
