This extreme Mustang Shelby GT500 is one of the greatest muscle
cars of its generation, not only for its performance but for its iconic
heritage that makes it so valuable today. Powered by a supercharged
5.8-liter V8 engine that makes 662 horsepower and 631 pound-feet of
torque, this American muscle car is everything and more than any car
enthusiast could ever want. This engine, though, is not unmodified.
Fitted with JBA headers, a performance air-oil separator, and a quad-
tip performance exhaust, this engine is primed to produce even more
power and, as a result, excitement to drive. This power is slammed
through a six speed manual transmission that enables the driver to
fully utilize every ounce of the engine’s output and accelerate through
each individual gear in a way that no automatic transmission can offer.
To us, what’s outside the hood is just as important as what’s
underneath it, and this aggressive Mustang is no exception to that
rule. Painted in Race Red and fitted with 20” Verde alloy wheels, this
specific Mustang looks fantastic from all angles. Aided by an
aftermarket ducktail spoiler and aftermarket front lip, it’s difficult to
see any inch of this car that doesn’t look like an aggressive driving
machine, and for good reason. The platform of the car itself sits low
on Bilstein performance suspension, making it balanced on the road
and manageable to drive at high speeds, while Brembo performance
disc brakes enable the car to stop on a dime if needed. Inside, the car has Cobra-stitched Recaro leather bucket seats, leather interior panels, and a Shaker premium sound system with Microsoft Sync, although the engine noise may be the only music anyone could possibly want in this beast.
