This 2017 Chevrolet SS is a from-factory sleeper that has been taken to the next level with extensive performance modifications. Under the hood is a 6.2-liter V8 engine that produced 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque from the factory, all of which is sent through a six-speed manual transmission to the rear wheels. The engine is not stock, however, having received a Texas Speed dual-spring cam package that includes a TSP Stage 2 N/A 229/244 .629"/615” 112 LSA camshaft and supporting modifications. The engine is also outfitted with a Rollmaster 3-bolt single-row timing set, an ARP Bolt Kit, a Melling high-volume oil pump, a TSP LS camshaft retainer plate, GM/Delphi LS7-style lifters, a Mr. Gasket Premium engine overhaul kit with MLS head gaskets, Trick Flow chromoly pushrods, and PRC LS3 aftermarket 6-bolt 260cc CNC cylinder heads, among many other modifications.
This aggressive machine comes equipped with OEM 19" Chevrolet wheels with Holden center caps and is finished in Phantom Black, a menacing hue that suits this modified beast. In the interior, this SS offers heated and ventilated leather sport seats, a heads-up display, selectable drive modes, multi-zone climate controls, an MGW short-throw shifter with a black ball shift knob, and an infotainment system with Bluetooth, navigation, apps, phone connectivity, AUX, and a backup camera, truly making this car the complete package.
