This 2017 Volkswagen Golf R is a sleek hot hatchback that has been modified to perform even better. Under the hood is a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine that produced 292 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque from the factory, all of which is sent through a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to all four wheels. The engine is not stock, however, having received a Garrett Motion upgraded turbocharger, an APR cold-air intake, an APR red-top coil pack, an aftermarket downpipe, and performance tuning, taking this car to new heights. This aggressive machine comes equipped with 18” Niche wheels and is finished in Limestone Gray Metallic, a subtle hue that beautifully suits the car's iconic lines. In the interior, this Golf R offers heated leather sport seats, a Black Forest Industries (BFI) gear selector, selectable drive modes, Axmotiv paddle shifters, a flat-bottomed leather steering wheel, multi-zone climate controls, and an infotainment system with Bluetooth, navigation, apps, phone connectivity, CD, AUX, and a backup camera, truly making this car the complete package.
