This 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI Autobahn is a German hot hatchback with many modifications and generations of heritage. Under the hood, a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine produces 220 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, all of which is sent through a six-speed automatic transmission to the front wheels. The engine is not stock, however, having received the EQT Stage 2 Performance Package, a CTS high-flow catted downpipe, an Autotech high-pressure fuel pump upgrade, RS7 high-output ignition coils, Denso 1-Step Colder spark plugs, a Forge Motorsport catch can, and DFG Tuning intake piping, among many other modifications. This aggressive machine comes equipped with 18” Rotiform WGR 5-Spoke wheels and is finished in Night Blue Metallic, making it even more eye-catching. In the interior, this Golf GTI offers heated cloth bucket seats, a flat-bottomed leather “GTI” steering wheel, selectable drive modes, aftermarket paddle shifters, and an infotainment system with Bluetooth, phone connectivity, and a backup camera, truly making this car the complete package.
