This 2018 Volkswagen Golf R is a heavily modified performance machine that has been taken to the next level. Under the hood, a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine produces 292 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, all of which is sent through a six-speed manual transmission and its proprietary 4Motion drivetrain system to all four wheels. The engine is not stock, however, having received an Integrated Engineering cold-air intake, a USP Motorsports catch can, an APR coil pack, an upgraded intercooler, and an APR turbo-back exhaust system, among other modifications. This sleek hot hatchback comes equipped with 18” VMR wheels and is wrapped in an Inozetek purple color that makes this car even more head-turning. The exterior of this Volkswagen has been made even more unique with the addition of some cosmetic modifications, which include a MaxtonDesign rear diffuser, a MaxtonDesign front lip, MaxtonDesign V2 side skirts, an aerofabb hatch-mounted spoiler extension, and a Seibon carbon fiber hood. In the interior, this Golf R offers leather Braum bucket seats, a flat-bottomed forged carbon fiber steering wheel, a Black Forest Industries shift knob and boot, a vent-mounted APR boost gauge, a Euro Kreations rear seat delete kit, and an infotainment system with Bluetooth, navigation, apps, Performance Pages, phone connectivity, and a backup camera, truly making this car the complete package.
