This 2019 Volkswagen Golf R 4Motion is a heavily modified German hot hatchback designed to be driven at the limit. Under the hood is a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine that produces 288 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, which is sent through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to all four wheels. The engine is not stock, however, having received an upgraded turbocharger, a CTS Turbo cold-air intake, a Treadstone Performance front-mount intercooler, a high-flow 5“ catless downpipe, Precision Raceworks port injection with a Precision Raceworks fuel rail, and a Fuel-It! flex fuel kit, among other modifications. This hot hatchback sits on 18” Konig Ampliform wheels and is finished in Oryx White, a subtle hue that belies this car's true performance capabilities. The exterior of this Volkswagen has been made even more unique with the addition of some cosmetic modifications, including side skirt extensions, an aftermarket rear lower diffuser, an Aerofabb rear spoiler extension, and a rear window wiper delete. In the interior, this Golf R offers heated leather sport seats seats, multi-zone climate controls, a semi-digital gauge cluster, selectable drive modes, and an infotainment system with Bluetooth, navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, truly making this car the complete package.
